Social Team Membership Terms

1. Social Team Membership Eligibility

1.1 Social Team Membership is available to eligible football social teams that wish to use Smart MBS Arena for regular football activities.

1.2 Smart MBS Arena reserves the right to verify the identity and details of the social team before approving the membership.

1.3 The membership is issued specifically to the registered social team and must only be used by that team.

2. Social Team Membership Discount

Approved Social Team Members will receive a 15% discount on the applicable field rental rate during all operating hours.

2.1 The 15% discount is subject to the monthly booking limit stated under these Terms & Conditions.

2.2 The discount applies only to eligible bookings made by the registered Social Team Member.

2.3 The membership discount cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or special offers, unless approved by Smart MBS Arena management.

3. Monthly Booking Limit

3.1 Each Social Team Membership is limited to a maximum of three (3) discounted booking slots per calendar month.

3.2 The first three (3) eligible booking slots made within the same calendar month will receive the 15% membership discount.

3.3 Once the three (3) discounted slots have been fully used, any additional booking made within the same calendar month will be charged at the normal Non-Member rate.

3.4 The booking limit will automatically reset at the beginning of each new calendar month.

Example:

●     1st booking → 15% discount

●     2nd booking → 15% discount

●     3rd booking → 15% discount

●     4th booking → Normal Non-Member rate

●     New month → 3 discounted slots reset

3.5 Unused discounted slots will not be carried forward to the following month.

4. Permitted Use of Social Team Membership

4.1 Social Team Membership is intended for regular social football activities and friendly matches organised by the registered social team.

4.2 The membership may be used for activities involving the registered social team members.

4.3 Any activity that is considered a tournament, competition, league or commercial event must be booked separately and will be subject to the applicable rental rate and terms set by Smart MBS Arena.

5. Prohibited Use

Social Team Membership MUST NOT be used for:

●     Tournaments or competitions;

●     Adult leagues or official league competitions;

●     Corporate events or corporate teams;

●     Private or individual bookings;

●     Bookings made on behalf of another team, organisation or individual;

●     Any commercial activity without prior approval from Smart MBS Arena; or

●     Any other activity that is not related to the registered social team's football activities.

5.1 Any booking for the activities listed above must be made using the applicable Non-Member rate or other rate determined by Smart MBS Arena.

6. Membership Ownership & Use

6.1 Social Team Membership belongs specifically to the approved social team.

6.2 The membership is non-transferable and must not be lent, shared, rented or used by another team, organisation or individual without prior approval from Smart MBS Arena.

6.3 The social team is fully responsible for ensuring that its membership is only used for the purposes allowed under these Terms & Conditions.

7. Social Team Membership Abuse Policy

7.1 Any use of the Social Team Membership that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions will be considered membership abuse.

7.2 This includes, but is not limited to:

●     Using the membership for activities that are not permitted;

●     Allowing another team or organisation to use the membership;

●     Using the membership to obtain a discount for another party;

●     Making bookings under the membership on behalf of another team or individual;

●     Providing false or misleading information to Smart MBS Arena; or

●     Attempting to bypass the three (3) discounted booking slots per month.

First Offence – Official Warning

For the first offence:

●     The social team will receive an official warning from Smart MBS Arena;

●     The 15% membership discount will not be applied to the booking involved, and the applicable rate will be charged;

●     The offence will be recorded in the team's membership record; and

●     Smart MBS Arena may require the social team to provide an explanation regarding the misuse.

Second Offence – Membership Suspension

For the second offence:

●     The Social Team Membership will be suspended for three (3) months;

●     During the suspension period, the social team will not be entitled to use any membership benefits or discounts;

●     All bookings made during the suspension period will be charged at the Non-Member rate; and

●     Membership benefits may only be restored after the suspension period has ended and subject to approval by Smart MBS Arena management.

Repeated or Serious Offences

7.3 Smart MBS Arena reserves the right to take further action, including permanent suspension or cancellation of the Social Team Membership, if the misuse is repeated, intentional or considered serious.

7.4 Any action taken regarding membership abuse will be subject to the decision of Smart MBS Arena management.

8. Smart MBS Arena's Rights

8.1 Smart MBS Arena reserves the right to amend, update, add or change these Social Team Membership Terms & Conditions from time to time based on operational requirements and current policies.

8.2 Smart MBS Arena also reserves the right to review or change the membership benefits, discount structure or monthly booking limit where necessary.

8.3 Any changes will take effect from the date specified by Smart MBS Arena.

8.4 By applying for and using the Social Team Membership, the social team confirms that it has read, understood and agreed to comply with all Social Team Membership Terms & Conditions set by Smart MBS Arena.
